Leeds Forge Rolling Stock

Leeds Forge supplied pressed steel rolling stock to several railways both in Britain and to various colonial railways. Indian lines were particular users of Leeds Forge products and many could be found until the end of many narrow gauge lines across India. These kits are based on a variety of prototypes or otherwise inspired by Leeds Forge design practice.

Campbeltown & Machrihanish Railway

The Campbeltown and Machrihanish Light Railway was a coal carrying railway in the pininsula of Kintyre, Scotland. It ran between 1876 to 1932; first as a colliery tramway and later a full light railway. We have a variety of prints for depicting the railway in its different guises throughout the years.

Vale of Rheidol Railway

Despite being a primarily tourist passenger route the Vale of Rheidol railway did have a thriving freight traffic up until being withdrawn by the GWR in the mid 1930s, and predominantly served the lead mines of the Rheidol valley. These are group of kits that represent its varied collection of rolling stock the line had for those goods duties
