5 Ton (Type 2) Decauville

Decauville of Corbeil-Essonnes, France, was a popular provider of complete railway and rolling stock systems to industrial and agricultural customers within the Franco~sphere during the latter half of the 19th century and early 20th century. Many systems could be found in France, its overseas territories as well as countries it influenced. This is a model of their Type 2 0-4-0 pannier tank locomotive weighing 5 tons and could be found in various applications from farm tramways, factory floors or even military instillations.

The model comes as a single printed body shell with a separate roof to aid cab painting. The body is a drop fit onto the Bachmann 0-4-0 Quarry Hunslet Chassis.
